The Pauline Family

In describing the Pauline Family in its various congregations and institutes, Alberione expressed his intentions: "A close relationship exists among them, because they were all born from the tabernacle. Only one spirit reigns: to live Jesus Christ and serve the Church. There are those who represent all [the Congregations], interceding for all before the tabernacle; there are those who diffuse, as from above, the doctrine of Jesus Christ; and there are those who come into contact with individual souls.

"Among them exists a close spiritual, intellectual, moral, and economic collaboration." (AD 34-35)

"Each is independent, but there is an exchange of prayers and help in many ways. The activities are separate, but there will be a sharing in the joys and sorrows, and in the eternal reward." --Fr. Alberione describing the relationship between the various Congregations & Institutes of the Pauline Family, AD 35

Institutes

Jesus the Priest

St Gabriel the Archangel

Mary Most Holy of the Annunciation

Holy Family

Union of Pauline Cooperators

Founded by Fr. James Alberione from 1957 and approved globally on 8 April 1960, these institutes belong to the Pauline Family; thus they share in the same Pauline spirituality and apostolic zeal. They receive direction from the Society of St. Paul, compatible with their state in life as diocesan clergy, laity, and as wedded couples or families in the world. Their way of sanctification also includes the pledge of religious vows; their mission is a form of apostolate associated to the institutes of the Pauline Family: evangelization with the modern means of communication; eucharistic prayer and promotion of the liturgy; pastoral animation of the parish; prayer and work for vocations.
