VOWS SERIES: Sr. Irene Regina – Belonging

There is a special bond and unity among the Sisters in my community, a bond I’ve seen grow through our praying lectio divina together.  This prayer challenges us to be who we are called to be.

When we pray with the Word of God together, my heart becomes open to sharing with my Sisters what this Word speaks to me, personally. This sharing of the Word helps me to really know my Sisters and to be known by them. Community life stretches me to find God in all things, especially in my Sisters.

Belonging is an important aspect of community. We build community by praying together, singing together, eating together, working together…sometimes we even build community by singing badly together, cooking badly together, and laughing about it together!

We live as a community of listening disciples who then go out as apostles to bring others to Christ. We share our Christian life in community and then live that experience through our mission.

Who We Are

The Daughters of St. Paul is a congregation of Catholic women living our vocation to consecrated religious life in service to God’s people by preaching the Gospel through all forms of media. Our profoundly Eucharistic spirituality roots us in Jesus so that no matter what we do—writing, graphic design, radio, video, social media, music, art—we may be a communication of Christ’s love to every person we encounter.

Discern Your Vocation

We regularly host opportunities for vocational discernment, providing a space for young women to learn about religious life and pray about where God is calling them. Get in touch with us to learn about events near you or to speak with a sister.

Be Part of the Pauline Mission

Pauline Cooperators are lay men and women who anchor their lives in the Pauline spirituality and who participate in the Pauline mission, which is the very mission of Christ, the proclamation of the Kingdom of God.
