The Blessed Mother has always known me, but she didn’t introduce herself until I was thirteen and read The Song of Bernadette. Even though I was still a Protestant at the time, it was love at first sight.
Looking for more of these wonderful books, I met the Daughters of St. Paul, and with them I made another instant connection. I read myself right into the Catholic Church and, soon after, into the community whose mission was to evangelize through the media.

Our devotion to Mary as Queen of the Apostles, the first evangelizer, was another confirmation for me that I was on the right path. It was almost as though Mary was telling me, “Let’s you and I do this mission together!”
