VOWS SERIES: Sr. Karen Marie – Jesus’ Love Is Beyond Comprehension

Our religious vow of chastity, lived in consecrated celibacy, allows me to respond to Jesus’ unfathomable love with my own wholehearted, single-hearted dedication. His love for me is what gives me clarity in confusion, certainty in doubt, and security in anxiety.

With the vow of chastity, I freely offer my life to Jesus in response to his love, praying that through me others will know the immense gift of his totally free, unconditional love. Living in communion with Christ makes me want to communicate his love to every person so that they too can know his love and their full dignity, so that they too may live with gratitude and joy even in times of suffering.

Jesus’ love for us is completely beyond our comprehension – his life, passion, and death are entirely an expression of his love for his Father and for us. By his Paschal Mystery we have been redeemed!

Who We Are

The Daughters of St. Paul is a congregation of Catholic women living our vocation to consecrated religious life in service to God’s people by preaching the Gospel through all forms of media. Our profoundly Eucharistic spirituality roots us in Jesus so that no matter what we do—writing, graphic design, radio, video, social media, music, art—we may be a communication of Christ’s love to every person we encounter.

Discern Your Vocation

We regularly host opportunities for vocational discernment, providing a space for young women to learn about religious life and pray about where God is calling them. Get in touch with us to learn about events near you or to speak with a sister.

Be Part of the Pauline Mission

Pauline Cooperators are lay men and women who anchor their lives in the Pauline spirituality and who participate in the Pauline mission, which is the very mission of Christ, the proclamation of the Kingdom of God.
