Get to Know Maria Siciliano, APC

I’m Maria Siciliano from Los Angeles, California. I became a Pauline Cooperator in 2014. What got me motivated to become a Pauline Cooperator was that I enjoyed being with the Sisters and wanted to have what they haveI liked the mission and work in the bookstore, too. In my daily life and efforts of evangelization as a Pauline Cooperator, I try to approach people and issues in a Christian way and in a joy-filled, proactive way, as I have witnessed among the Sisters. Words that I would share with anyone looking into a “third order” or lay association or wanting be part of a religious spiritual family: “It adds a richness to one’s life, particularly if one is single and doesn’t have family in the local community. It is comforting and hopeful to have the spirituality and family spirit of the Paulines undergirding one’s life and actions.”

Who We Are

The Daughters of St. Paul, a congregation of Catholic women religious, live our vocation in service to God’s people by proclaiming the Gospel through all forms of media. Our profoundly Eucharistic spirituality roots us in Jesus so that no matter what we do—writing, graphic design, radio, video, social media, music, art—we may be a communication of Christ’s love to every person we encounter.

Discern Your Vocation

We regularly host opportunities for vocational discernment, providing a space for young women to learn about religious life and pray about where God is calling them. Get in touch with us to learn about events near you or to speak with a Sister.

Be Part of the Mission

Pauline Cooperators are lay men and women who anchor their lives in the Pauline spirituality and who participate in the Pauline mission, which is the very mission of Christ, the proclamation of the Kingdom of God.
